Dedicated to Bebe

Two years ago, I found a puppy shivering outside the roads of ss2.
Somehow, it fell into a drain and managed to escape looking all wet and dirty.
I've had plenty of experiences 'rescuing' animals and not knowing what to do with them in the end, which often ended on a bad note (i.e disappearances, deaths). And for years, I knew the best thing for me and the animal was to stay away from them no matter how sad or pitiful they looked.
But that day, I didn't know what came over me. I just picked it up, brought it home and gave it a bath.
Of course I knew I wouldn't be able to keep the puppy at my ss2 place then, who would have time to take care of it?
And then I thought of 8po, who had just lost her dog -Rambutan.
I was so relieved when 8po said yes to taking the puppy in. She came over a few days later to pick it up, naming it Bobby.
Of course, it took another few days later for her to find out from the vet that it was a girl and the puppy was renamed Bebe.
The vet said Bebe had very bright eyes and was really smart, which proved true, although she was also bestowed a playful character, which wasn't really the best of combinations.
But 8po seemed happy with her and Bebe spent two happy years living with 8po and her family.
All of a sudden, just this morning, Bebe died of poisoning, probably from eating weed killer.
To 8po: don't blame yourself for what happened. If you hadn't taken Bebe in, she wouldn't have a home and she wouldn't have two happy years.
For what it's worth, I think she lived a happy life.
